Between culture and folklore - Torre Storica

In Bitonto, just a few kilometres from Palo del Colle, you can visit the archeological museum Fondazione de Palo Ungaro. The museum is divided in four sections showing funeral items, arms and armours as well as female objects and house items, all dated VI – III cent. B.C.

It is worth to visit the Talos festival in Ruvo di Puglia at 11Km from Palo del Colle , born in 1993 by a music master Pino Minafra a world famous jazzman and a music teacher at Piccinni academy of music in Bari. The peculiarity of this festifal is the presence of many local musical bands playing all sort of music from classical, opera, pop to movie sound tracks. The Talos attracts crowds of people from around Bari because of the participation of world famous jazzmen such as Nicola Pisano, Micholis Kouloumis and Barry Guy.
The festival is hold in October 1-11.
